Options for Storing Shampoos, Soaps and Conditioners in Your Shower

Felicia Carr

With more and more people opting away from tiled in bath soap holders as they are very challenging to replace when they break in service, people are looking to explore more of the options for storing shampoos, soaps and conditioners in your shower or bathroom. Here are some of the options you can consider.

Suction activated soap holders

Suction activated soap holders can be a good option as they are temporary and can be easily removed when you are looking to replace the unit. they are available in a range of finishes that can be matched to any bathroom decor. These are also a great option for renters as they do not cause any permanent damage to the bathroom and can be easily removed at the end of the tenancy. The downside of these racks is that they can only take a limited weight, which can be an issue if you have large bottles of shampoo and conditioner or other heavy items to store.

Loop on shower racks

Another option is a shower rack that you can loop over the shower spout. This is another reasonable option for renters and is a cheap option to store bath products temporarily. These are often a little stronger than suction activated bath products. Some householders do not like the lack of flexibility in where they can hang these racks, especially in small showers which have limited space available.

Tiled recesses

A growing number of houses are opting for a tiled-in recess which creates a natural shelf in which to store your bathroom products. These can be planned in a new house or a bathroom renovation. These create a modern and sleek look in any bathroom. They are also hard to damage so there is little risks of being left with a partly function bathroom storage space. These can also take relatively heavy items without break and can even be used for items such as glass jars of candles or bath salts that you might like to store near the bath/shower but don't want to get wet in a shelf that is in the right position.

If you are looking to explore storage options in the bathroom, it is a good idea to visit a bathroom renovation storeroom. These can give you some great inspiration to come up with a storage option that suits your bathroom space and the types of products that you are looking to store.
